Exhibition Introduction:
Aoki Aoki (Huang Min-Chin), who plays multiple roles as an artist, art critic, and curator, is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Normal University. He has held 6 solo exhibitions and participated in dozens of domestic and international group exhibitions. Aoki Aoki’s creative style brings together unique interpretations of grasslands, greenery, and natural scenery, using mineral pigments and ink painting to outline captivating and mesmerizing images.
The artist’s creative concept for this exhibition:[ I want to paint the local colors that belong to this island of Taiwan in the twenty-first century, to paint the “green” that belongs to Taiwan in the twenty-first century, and I first name this kind of green as “Fresh Green Fresh Green” ]。
Artist Biography:
Aoki Aoki (Huang Min-Chin) was born in 1980 in Qingshui, Taichung. He graduated from the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts, Tunghai University in 2013, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Normal University.
