The Art Center of National Formosa University (NFU) joined the Quanta “Super Art” Project touring program in 2008. The Quanta “Super Art” Project collaborates with museums both in Taiwan and abroad to curate educational exhibitions suitable for elementary and middle school students. It brings art pieces from various times and cultures into campuses, allowing teachers and students to engage with art in a relaxed and natural way. Through the study and appreciation of art, participants can achieve balanced personal development and cultivate a meaningful life.
In the spirit of value co-creation, and upholding the principles of collaborative partnership and mutual benefit, the Art Center has contributed university-level art resources. To date, it has organized 16 annual touring exhibitions, forming a cultural strategy alliance with the Quanta Education Foundation and establishing a learning network for art education. As the lead school in Yunlin County, the Art Center is responsible for: 1. Touring exhibitions, 2. Educational outreach, 3. Teacher workshops, 4. Creative teaching, and 5. Art ambassador training. This multi-faceted learning platform embodies the university’s social responsibility, promotes art education in Yunlin County, and through organizational collaboration, integrates resources to enhance diverse art learning spaces, reduce the urban-rural gap in artistic resources, and achieve multi-dimensional outcomes.
